These Terms of Service govern your use of our AI-powered learning platform, including our quiz generator, flashcard generator, educational comic creator, and live study sessions. By using StudyGlen, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We may change these terms at any time. If we make changes, we will post the updated terms here and, for significant changes, notify you by email.

StudyGlen is an AI-powered learning platform. You can create AI-generated quizzes, flashcards, and educational comics from text, PDF documents, images, or YouTube video links, and host or join live multiplayer quiz sessions.

We may offer different plans with different features and limits.

We may change, suspend, or stop the service at any time.

When you host a live session, you are responsible for the participants you invite and for the content and conduct of that session.

Some features require an account.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure.

You are responsible for all activity on your account.

Provide accurate information when creating an account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo (or designated as terrorist-supporting), that you are not on any U.S. Government prohibited-parties list, and that you will comply with any applicable third-party terms (such as your mobile carrier's) when using the service.

You own the content you upload (study materials, documents).

By uploading content, you allow us to process it to generate quizzes, flashcards, and comics.

Uploaded content is removed from our active systems after processing. Some data may persist in backups or with service providers for a limited time.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload content. Do not upload copyrighted content you do not own or have permission to use.

Generated content (quizzes, flashcards, and comics) is for your personal educational use.

AI-generated images (such as comic panels and flashcard illustrations) are produced automatically and are not exclusive to you; other users may receive similar outputs. You are responsible for the prompts and inputs you provide.

StudyGlen offers one-time credit packs for AI quiz generation, flashcard generation, and educational comic creation. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or auto-renewals.

On our website, all payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Upon purchase, credits are delivered to your account immediately and never expire.

By purchasing a credit pack, you consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU once credits are added to your account.

If you have not used any credits from your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days by emailing support@studyglen.com.

Credit packs where credits have been used are non-refundable, as the digital content has been consumed.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

Mobile in-app purchases: Purchases made through our mobile app are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by Stripe, and are subject to the App Store's or Google Play's terms.

Refunds for mobile in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, not through the process above. For App Store purchases, use Apple's 'Report a Problem' page; for Google Play, use the Play Store refund process.

Do not use StudyGlen for unlawful purposes or in violation of these Terms.

Examples of prohibited activities:

Uploading copyrighted material without permission

Generating harmful or inappropriate content

Attempting to hack or reverse engineer the service

Using automated tools to access the service

Reselling access to the service

Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits

Generating illegal, harmful, sexually explicit, or infringing images, or images depicting real, identifiable people without their consent

StudyGlen owns the service, including its design, code, and branding.

You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the service without permission.

Our name, logo, and trademarks may not be used without permission.

StudyGlen is provided 'as is' without any warranties.

We do not guarantee the service will always be available or error-free.

AI-generated content, including quizzes, flashcards, comics, and images, may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always verify the accuracy of generated content before relying on it for important purposes.

We are not responsible for academic outcomes or consequences from using our service.

To the extent permitted by law, StudyGlen is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total liability for claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Some locations may not allow these limitations.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us, or directly in the mobile app via the settings screen.

We may suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms.

When your account is closed, you lose access to the service.

We may keep some information as required by law.

If you download our app from the Apple App Store, these additional terms apply. This agreement is between you and Tuncay Technologies Ltd only — not with Apple — and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product-liability, legal or regulatory, or consumer-protection claims.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

In the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.

Tuncay Technologies Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging any claim that the app or your use of it infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights, including the right to bring legal proceedings in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms at any time.

When we update them, we will post the new version here.

Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
